Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce and Manufacturers Association of the Southern Tier
Special Preview for Chamber Members: HR Compliance Tools Included with Your Chamber Membership!
Our members have expressed a need for products that help to manage costs and meet regulatory requirements, and now the Chamber can assist with both. Combining access to human resource compliance tools with a wide variety of employee benefits, the Chamber is now a one-stop shop to fulfill these vital business needs.
The Chamber provides an easy to use online platform that allows local companies to address the new state requirements for sexual harassment compliance at no additional charge above their Chamber investment. This is a true value added product for Chamber members. Through our partnership with HR360, the Chamber is able to provide access to a complete Learning Management System that offers New York State compliant workplace harassment tools, a full library of information and guidance, and a true human resources support system. Whether you are the sole employee of your company, or have dozens of employees, the Chamber can help you satisfy this new regulation, and also offer tools for a variety of human resource needs.

Build Your Business by Cultivating Relationships
If you are a small business owner, chances are you rely heavily on word of mouth and advertising to help reach out to new customers. In addition to these marketing tactics an investment in the Chamber of Commerce broadens your ability to connect your business to new consumers and businesses in the community. Plus your investment in the Chamber will enhance your visibility with existing customers.
Each of our six affiliated Community Chambers of Commerce in Dunkirk, Fredonia, Hanover, Jamestown, Mayville-Chautauqua, and Westfield-Barcelona also offers community based events that are focused on bringing people together in a variety of settings to improve and enhance the local business community. We hope you’ll watch our online calendar for a full list.
The Shoptauqua Gift Card is a great tool to promote your business and drive customers through your door. The program is included as part of a membership at no additional cost. This program is growing significantly as card sales and participation of merchants is increasing. In 2018 the Chamber of Commerce saw a 100% increase Shoptauqua Gift Cards sales. Shoptauqua Gift Cards are accepted at more than 120 Chamber member businesses countywide. They are easy to purchase from the Chamber and easy to use, and it’s easy for us to set up a member business to participate in this system. The Shoptauqua Gift Card program is designed to encourage local shopping.
Through a series of Experience Chautauqua Business After Hours events throughout the year, the Chamber helps you foster business to business connections all across Chautauqua County. The contacts people make on a social level extend into their business lives as well. In addition, the Chamber hosts one of the largest business gatherings in Western New York each year, our Annual Awards Banquet in October, providing even greater opportunities for members to get to know one another on a personal and professional level.
Through the Chamber, you can take advantage of sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorship is an opportunity to align your company with the Chamber’s brand and to help you gain valuable marketing exposure. As a Chamber member, you can display your business information in both the Dunkirk and Jamestown offices. Grand opening and open house events through the Chamber can also call attention to your business. Chamber membership is a valuable investment for all businesses. To learn more call our offices at 366-6200 or 484-1101 or visit us online at http://www.chautauquachamber.org.
