CARTS Bus Riders Can Ride for Free on November 30
JAMESTOWN, N.Y.:– The Chautauqua Area Regional Transit System (CARTS) recently announced Free Fixed Route Transportation on Small Business Saturday on November 30, 2019. This is for riders utilizing the City Fixed Routes in the Dunkirk and Jamestown areas. The buses operate from approximately 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. in the Jamestown area and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Dunkirk area.
“To help promote Small Business Saturday and to thank current riders and encourage future riders, CARTS will be offering free city route service on Saturday, November 30, 2019,” said Michele Westphal, Senior Project Coordinator – CARTS. “CARTS has been operating Saturday service in the Jamestown area and Dunkirk area since June of 2019. The average ridership continues to increase; if you have not had the opportunity to try it now would be the time.”
“I encourage residents and visitors to take advantage of the convenience of the free trips on CARTS to shop and dine at local businesses in our communities on Small Business Saturday,” said George Borrello, Chautauqua County Executive.
