Do you own a smartphone, tablet, computer or other electronic device that you’re not quite sure how to use? Literacy Volunteers is here to help. We have a team of tech-savvy young adults ready to help adults learn technology through one-on-one, personal coaching. Call 366-4438 to schedule an appointment at the Literacy Volunteers’ Education Center located at 10 Park Place in the Village of Fredonia.

Do you have low vision issues? Having a problem filling out necessary forms? Literacy Volunteers has volunteers who will help you. If you need this service call 366-4438 to schedule an appointment. Our service is free, donations are appreciated!

Our recent move to Fredonia has given us the necessary space to potentially offer group training sessions, at a small fee. We are considering offering classes in Spanish, financial literacy and basic computer skills. If you are interested, please call Julie at 366-4438 to let us know there is community interest.

We are continuing to look for energetic, dedicated, diverse, community members willing to serve on our board of directors. We need your help to rocket us into the future and accomplish our mission. If you are interested in helping us grow, please consider joining our Board of Directors. Call 716-366-4438 or e-mail lvaccc@netsync.net

Not interested in joining the Board but want to help? Volunteer in our bookstore, volunteer as a tutor or become a Literacy Volunteer member. A membership form can be found on our website, http://www.lvccread.org. Our bookstore is open Wed. thru Sat. 10 – 7, we ask volunteers to do 3-hour shifts and we would like to start being open on Tuesdays if we can fill our staff. Tutor volunteers are expected to volunteer 2-hours of tutoring per week. If you are interested in volunteering call 716-366-4438 or e-mail lvaccc@netsync.net
