Fredonia May Commencement postponed, planning begins for future event

  The State University of New York at Fredonia has announced that, in the interest of public health and safety, the annual Commencement ceremonies traditionally held in May, will be postponed. “Given the need to protect the health of everyone, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Commencement ceremony to a later date,” Interim President Dennis L. SOUTH DAYTON – Students at Pine Valley Central School will now have the opportunity to earn technical endorsements on their high school diplomas. The New York State Department of Education recently approved Pine Valley’s Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Agricultural programs as endorsable career and technical education (CTE) programs. Brocton Elementary School will issue registration packets for students eligible for the universal Pre-k and kindergarten classes for the 2020-21 school year on Monday March 2nd through Friday March 27th between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
